Louis Vuitton’s latest collection continues the house’s long-standing dialogue between fashion and contemporary art, a tradition that began with early collaborations like Stephen Sprouse’s graffiti-infused Speedy bags. Over the years, the brand has partnered with artists such as Takashi Murakami, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Prince, and Jeff Koons, turning its accessories into cultural canvases that bridge luxury and pop culture.

This season, the conversation turns toward Keith Haring, whose graphic, street-inspired visual language is woven into a collection presented at The Frick Collection in New York. Under Nicolas Ghesquière, the show balanced Haring’s bold motifs with the museum’s aristocratic backdrop, blending antique romanticism with modern utility.

Rather than overwhelming the garments, Haring’s work is distilled into subtle outlines, embroidered details, and reworked prints across bags and dresses. At the heart of the collection lies a dialogue between fashion history and screen glamour. One of the key inspirations is a Haute Couture Spring/Summer 1949 jacket famously worn by Marlene Dietrich in Alfred Hitchcock's Stage Fright. This archival reference serves as a reminder of Dior's longstanding presence in the world of cinema, where costume and couture have always shared a powerful connection.

Another recurring motif is the California poppy, whose vibrant beauty blooms throughout the collection. Floral elements appear as delicate embellishments and expressive decorative details, reinforcing a sense of romance that has long been central to the House's identity.

For Spring–Summer 2026 Couture, Rami Al Ali presents Fragments in Harmony, a collection inspired by the timeless philosophy of Rumi. Exploring the beauty found in transformation, the collection turns contrasts into a poetic expression of unity, where fragmented elements gradually merge into refined and harmonious silhouettes.

Movement defines the season. Fluid gowns and elongated forms are designed to evolve with the body, creating a sense of lightness and quiet transcendence. Architectural precision meets soft draping, while layered transparencies and visible seams symbolize connection, repair, and renewal.

A luminous palette of ivory, alabaster, blush pink, peach, sage, and delicate blue is enriched with touches of gold, pearl, champagne, and lilac. Intricate embroidery inspired by mosaic patterns and broken glass combines metallic threads, crystals, and beads, adding texture and depth to the ethereal designs.

Enhancing the collection’s narrative, Persian composer Shora Karimi created an original score inspired by verses from Rumi’s Mathnawi, transforming the runway into an immersive sensory experience.
