O terceiro desfile que vi de perto foi o do designer Tadashi Shoji. Tadashi é o fundador e chefe de designer da marca Tadashi Shoji. O estilista nasceu em Sendai. Japão. Ele começou muito cedo sua carreira como pintor e desenhista. Ele então se mudou para Tokio onde seu trabalho foi reconhecido pelo famoso Jiro Takamatsu. Depois disso Tadadashi se mudou para os Estados Unidos onde estudou artes em Los Angeles. Foi láque ele descobriu o design de moda o que fez aflorar sua paixão de toda uma vida. Ele ainda era um estudante quando foi apresentado ao famos designer Bill Whitten. Muito novo Tadashi já watva criando para famosos artistas como Elton John e Stevie Wonder.
Em 1982 Tadashi se estabeleceu como designer. E abriu sua loja em Los Angeles e começou a ser reconhecido nacionalmente por suas criações originais and inovadoras. Sua marca é vendida na maioria das grandes lojas de departamentos como Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s e Macy’s.
Em 2007 Tadashi estreiou no New York Fashion week onde mostrou sua coleção no Outono 2007. Seus designs é apreciado por uma clientela fiel em várias partes do mundo e por celebridades como Helen Mirren, Queen Latifah, Deborah Messing, Beyonce e Blake Lively.
Nesta coleção Outono 2011 Tadashi usou tecidos leves como chifon e a seda e muitos apliques florais. A cores predominantes do desfile foram o preto, fuchsia, amarelo e os verdes. 


The third show I watched was of the designer Tadashi Shoji. Tadashi is the founder and chief designer of the Tadashi Shoji collection. He was born and raised in Sendai, Japan. He started his career painting and drawing at a young age. He then moved to Tokyo where his work was recognized by Jiro Takamatsu. Tadashi moved to United States where he attended the University in Los Angeles when he discovered fashion design that awakened a life-long passion. As a student, Tadashi was presented to work with the famous designer Bill Whitten. Tadashi started creating designs for A-list stars including, Elton John and Stevie Wonder.
In 1982 Tadashi was establishing as a designer. The open the Los Angeles-based fashion house Tadshi Shoji and become widely recognized for its original designs and innovative collections. His brand is carried by most of the biggest department stores including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s.
In 2007 Tadashi launched the Tadashi Shoji Runway collection during Fall 2007 New York Fashion Week. Tadashi’s designs have won a loyal following with well-dressed women worldwide, including a wide range of celebrities from Helen Mirren, Queen Latifah, Deborah Messing, Beyonce, and Blake Lively.
For the Fall 2011 collection Tadashi used floaty fabrics like chiffon and silk and floral appliques. The predominant colors shown were black, fuchsia, yellow and shadows of green.
