Last month March 17 celebrated Saint Patrick's Day. It is the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland. Here in Boston, where the Irish community is very big, the celebrations were happening everywhere. The celebrations started on Saturday and continued into Sunday, including a street parade. The region of North End and the Quincy Market has Irish pubs spread everywhere. It was the place the people went to celebrate on Saturday. Here are some shots from the celebration in the streets around Quincy Market.
